The Pilot Rehabilitation Programme for Employees Injured at Work is a government initiative aimed at supporting and rehabilitating individuals who have sustained work-related injuries. Responsibilities
Case management
Handle end-to-end management of work injury cases, ensuring comprehensive handling and adherence to established protocols.
Establish effective communication channels with injured workers and medical professionals to develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
Collaborate closely with injured workers and rehabilitation professionals to facilitate discussions and arrangements for their return to work.
Accompanying injured individuals to medical appointments and providing support as required.
Ensure accurate and complete documentation of case progress and updates.
Meet key performance indicators and operational requirements related to case management.
Ensure compliance with system requirements, including accurate and timely data collection.
People management
Manage the performance of CMs to ensure the quality work and achievement of KPIs and standard.
Conduct case reviews with CMs regularly.
Coach CMs to handle cases effectively and efficiently.
Provide internal/external training or seminars if necessary.
Collaborate with all internal & external stakeholders.
All ad hoc tasks assigned.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Social Studies, Counselling, Psychology; or
Bachelor’s degree in other disciplines with related case management qualifications such as Professional Diploma/Certificate in Work Disability Management/ Occupational Rehabilitation Management etc.
Minimum 5 years experience in work injury case management. If the candidate does not have a degree in Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Social work, Counselling, or Psychology, a minimum of 7 years experience in work injury case management is required.
Good communication and people management skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Portfolio or project management experience preferred.
