Mr. Shohei Sasaki (佐々木翔平) - Athletic Trainer (JSPO-AT), Judo Therapist, Master of Sports and Health Science.


He specializes in supporting athletes, particularly in contact sports like American football. His efforts played a crucial role in leading his team to become the top contender in Japan's domestic American Football League. Recognized for his significant contributions to society—including winning a taping championship, conducting various seminars, engaging in research, and training future trainers at educational institutions—he is the first individual in Japan to secure an exclusive contract with a taping manufacturer as a JSPO-AT. On social media, he primarily shares taping videos and has garnered substantial support from fellow trainers, amassing over 20,000 followers.

コンタクトスポーツ（主にアメリカンフットボール）を中心にアスリートのサポートに従事。国内アメリカンフットボールリーグでチームの日本一に貢献。テーピング選手権優勝、各種セミナー活動、研究活動、教育機関での次世代トレーナー育成などの社会貢献が評価され、日本で初めてテーピングメーカーとJSPO-ATとして独占契約を締結。 SNSではテーピング動画を中心に投稿し、他のトレーナーからも高い支持を得ている（総フォロワー数2万人以上）。​

  • Category A -  Registered Members and Students Members of STAoHK;

  • Category B - Medical and Allied Health Members of STAoHK - physiotherapists, medical doctors, TCM practitioners, chiropractors, osteopaths, etc.. 

  • Any qualified professional mentioned above but non-members of STAoHK can enroll too. 

  • Fitness and sports professionals such as fitness trainer, S&C coaches, PE teachers, etc

Award

​

  • Certificate of Completion awarded by STAoHK;

  • 16 CPD hours for STAoHK Category A Members; 

  • Registered Members will automatically cover under the professional indemnity insurance after completion of the course;

  • Students Members MUST apply the techniques under supervision of a qualified practitioner according to the insurance clause;  

  • Medical and Allied Health Members please refer to your insurance policy that is proposed by the relevant professional body; 

  • CPD for HKPA and OT - Pending.
